The Bridgewater Farmers’ Market has officially opened vendor registration for the 2026 season, giving local growers and makers until February 28, 2026, to apply. The market, located at 123 Empire Street in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, serves as a primary sales spot for farmers, bakers, and artisans.

Prospective sellers must submit their applications through the MyMarket vendor portal. This online system is used by the Bridgewater Farmers’ Market Association to manage both seasonal and occasional vendor spots for the upcoming year.

The market typically features a variety of primary producers like fruit and vegetable farmers, as well as secondary producers who sell prepared foods and handmade crafts. Historically, the non-profit organization has charged a $25 annual membership fee and a $35 weekly table fee for participants.

The 2026 season is expected to run on Saturdays from May through October, providing a direct way for residents to buy local goods. The market has operated in the South Shore community for over 15 years and often includes special holiday markets later in the year.
