Bridgewater, Nova Scotia – The Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 24 at 78 Churchill Street will host a “Ring in 2026” New Year’s Eve celebration on December 31, 2025, with proceeds supporting veteran services and community youth programs.
Doors open in the evening and the party will run into the early hours of January 1, 2026. Tickets are typically sold in advance at the Branch bar or by phone reservation; contact Branch 24 at (902) 543-3203 or check the branch website for current availability. The event is organized by branch volunteers and the Ladies Auxiliary.
Attendees can expect live music, refreshments, spot dances and a 50/50 draw. Funds raised will bolster the Legion’s General Fund, which the branch says provides bursaries, supports local Scouts and Guides, and offers emergency services to veterans.
Dan Hennessey, Branch 24 president, said the event offers an important opportunity for residents to support veterans and their families. After significant revenue losses during the COVID-19 pandemic, the branch says the celebration forms part of its post-pandemic recovery and a return to traditional community gatherings.
