Residents in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, can now access a new list of activities and mobile library stops following the release of the March-April 2026 program guide. The South Shore Public Libraries shared the new guide and an updated Bookmobile schedule on February 25, 2026, to help families and job seekers plan their visits.
The Margaret Hennigar Public Library, located at 135 North Park Street inside the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre, will host several specialized sessions. These include computer classes, clinics for finding a job, and one-on-one technology help available through March 27, 2026.
For residents who cannot visit the building, the library continues to offer its regional Bookmobile service and borrowable mobile Wi-Fi hotspots. These tools are designed to help people in more rural areas get internet access and borrow books closer to home.
According to Ashley Nunn-Smith, the CEO of the library system, all branches have been designated as book sanctuaries since early 2025. This commitment ensures the library remains a safe and open space for all residents to access different types of books and community support.
