The celebration begins on March 13, 2026, with a fundraising gala called the Siren’s Soirée. Tickets for this evening event are $150 per person, with money raised going toward caring for animals and supporting marine education at the facility.
Visitors will see performers swimming in the tanks and telling stories during the nine-day event. The new carnival theme includes extra surprises to keep children entertained while they learn about the local environment and river life.
Special tickets are available for those who want to go behind the scenes. These sessions allow families to get close to the mermaids and the facility’s well-known animals, including the river otters and Justin Beaver.
Local hotels and over 30 businesses are also participating to turn the event into a city-wide celebration. Brockville Tourism confirmed that local shops will offer special discounts and themed treats to visitors throughout the week. Guests staying at the Holiday Inn Express or Comfort Inn can also sign up for special breakfast or swimming sessions with the performers.
