St. Mary Catholic High School in Brockville has posted its January 2026 exam timetable, scheduling final exams for secondary students from Friday, January 23, to Thursday, January 29, 2026. The school’s announcement gives students and families months of notice to plan study time, travel and any needed accommodations before Semester 2 begins on Friday, January 30.
The exams cover Grades 9 through 12 and account for 30 per cent of each student’s final mark. Tests will take place in the school gymnasium and designated classrooms at 40 Central Avenue West. According to school procedure, students are expected to arrive at least 15 minutes before the published start time; late arrivals must report to the office.
Students with Individual Education Plans who need extra time or a quiet setting must submit documentation at least two weeks before their first exam. In the event of inclement weather or bus cancellations, the entire exam schedule will shift forward by one day to ensure all assessments are completed.
The school says the early release of the timetable aligns with the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario’s multi-year calendar and helps prevent conflicts with family travel or other activities. The school advises against booking holidays during the January 23–29 window to avoid missing any summative assessments.
The full exam schedule is available on the school website. Families can view the detailed dates and times on the January 2026 exam schedule.
