Drivers in Burlington, Ontario, will see a lane closure on Unsworth Drive this month as workers install new water and sewer connections for a local property. Following a closure on March 12, the northbound lane will be closed again between Plains Road W and Hendrie Avenue on March 16, 2026.

The City of Burlington approved the work to allow a contractor to set up services for the property at 967 Unsworth Dr. This work takes place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on both days.

People who live in the area will still be able to get to their homes while the work is being done. Local traffic will be allowed through the construction zone, but other motorists should expect delays and follow all posted road signs.

The project is part of the standard permit process required when a property owner needs to connect a building to city pipes and utility lines. Engineering teams oversee these projects to make sure the work on public streets is safe for the community.
