A free guided bus tour will take riders to some of Camrose’s best-known spots on May 28, 2026. Hosted by Tourism Camrose, the 2.5-hour familiarization tour starts and ends at the Camrose Resort & Casino and stops at six attractions around the city.
The bus departs at 1:00 p.m. and returns at 3:05 p.m., with closing remarks and networking at 3:15 p.m. Along the way, participants will visit the Camrose Heritage Railway Station & Park, an original 1911 CN depot run by the Canadian Northern Society. A stop in downtown Camrose is followed by a look at the Camrose Golf Course, an 18-hole public course that opened in 1922 and sits at the tip of Mirror Lake Park, with three holes inter-playing with Mirror Lake.
The tour also includes a nature walk in the Stoney Creek valley, where more than 17 kilometres of trails are used year-round for hiking, biking, and skiing. Later stops highlight local recreation facilities and Mirror Lake itself, the heart of historic Camrose with walking paths, public art, and the Visitor Information Centre.
Tourism Camrose says the event is designed for anyone who wants to get to know the community better—whether they live here or are just visiting. Guides will share stories about Camrose’s history, parks, and lesser-known attractions so participants can confidently recommend places to friends, family, or tourists.
Registration is open through the Tourism Camrose website. The tour is free, but space on the bus is limited.
