Carman Collegiate is staging the comedy play 10 Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse for three performances from February 26 to February 28, 2026, in Carman, Manitoba. This student-led drama production provides a local entertainment option for the community while showcasing the creative work of local youth.
There are two evening shows beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 26 and Friday, February 27. A final afternoon performance is set for Saturday, February 28 at 1:00 p.m. Community members can purchase tickets at the school office or at the door before each show begins.
The play, written by Don Zolidis, is a high-energy comedy that features survival experts leading the audience through several absurd scenarios. Senior students are volunteering to manage ticket sales to fulfill their required service hours under the coordination of staff member Jaylyn Sigurdson.
The production required several logistical changes at the school this week, including moving student lunch areas to the home economics room and the student resource centre. These adjustments were made to accommodate the technical needs of the performances, which help support the school’s extracurricular arts programs.
