The Boyne Regional Library in Carman, Manitoba, is hosting a free “Decorate Your Own Puppy” crafting event for local children on March 12, 2026. This workshop gives youth a chance to practice their artistic skills by personalizing their own toy.

Participants aged 12 and under will be given a white stuffed animal puppy to decorate. The library is providing fabric markers and all other necessary supplies so children can create their own unique designs during the session.

While the program is free to attend, the library requires all participants to register beforehand. This helps the staff manage the hands-on workshop and ensure enough materials are ready for every child.

The library has served as a central hub for the community since it moved into the historic Dominion Post Office building in 1972. This event is part of the library’s effort to provide creative activities and social connections for families in the region.
