The Boyne Regional Library in Carman, Manitoba, is hosting a hands-on “Paint on Glass” workshop on February 4, 2026. This two-hour creative session is part of the library’s I Love To Read Month programming and gives residents a chance to learn glass-painting techniques.

Registration for the class opened on January 20, 2026, and the workshop is intended for teens and adults (the program brief lists eligibility as 14 and older). The library has applied its high-demand registration policies to craft workshops; there is a “one spot per household” limit for such events to help ensure broad access.

Sign-ups are being handled in person or through the Insignia library registration system, and a valid Boyne Regional Library membership is required to secure a spot. The library supplies all necessary materials for the project.

Head Librarian Sandra Yeo has worked to make the library a busy community hub. According to the Boyne Regional Library’s “Library Wrapped: 2025report, the branch welcomed an average of 160 people per day in 2025. The library has seen strong interest in craft programming—events such as the macrame mirror workshop have been popular and have used the “one spot per household” rule to manage demand.

This glass-painting session is one of several winter events meant to encourage community members to visit and use the library’s expanded facility.
