The Riceville Agricultural Society has announced on its homepage that the 159th Riceville Fair will take place August 28–30, 2026, at the Riceville Fairgrounds (4029 County Road 16), Riceville/Fournier, ON. Farmers, livestock exhibitors and vendors in the Casselman area now have early notice to plan their entries and book space for the late‑summer event.
The society’s website links to current prize lists and entry forms, giving 4‑H members, homecraft participants and small businesses a framework to prepare show cattle, crafts and food stalls. While the prize details currently on the site reflect 2025 categories, the society notes they will be updated after the Annual General Meeting on January 23, 2026.
Exhibitors will use the AssistExpo entry portal to register animals, produce and displays. Vendors can apply to the Riceville Country Market via the market/vendor application available on the society’s website, which gives local food trucks and artisans early information to plan inventory and staffing.
The Riceville Fair typically wraps up the United Counties of Prescott and Russell summer circuit, following mid‑August events at Vankleek Hill and Russell. Organizers say locking in dates nearly two years in advance marks a return to long‑term planning after scaled‑down formats during the pandemic years.
Founded in 1867, the Riceville Fair is one of Ontario’s oldest continuous agricultural exhibitions. Local municipalities, including The Nation and Casselman, along with sponsors such as MJN Truck Lines, support the fair’s ‘Country Fair with Family Flair’ motto and help ensure it remains a key gathering for Eastern Ontario’s farming community.
