Families in Chatham, Ontario, can now sign up for several free and low-cost spring activities at the Chatham-Kent Museum. Registration for the 2026 season opened on February 9, with programs running from late February through June.

The Chatham-Kent Museum is offering free monthly Kids Club sessions and a week-long March Break Imagination Lab from March 16 to March 20, 2026. There are also single-day PA Day camps aligned with local school boards’ calendars (for example, the Lambton Kent District School Board and the St. Clair Catholic District School Board), as well as a new series of mystery games held on Wednesday evenings. These programs take place in the Imagination Station, located on the second floor of the museum.

According to Chatham-Kent Arts + Culture’s Kids Programs page, “The goal is to ensure that every child in Chatham-Kent, regardless of their family’s budget, has a place to explore, create, and feel a sense of belonging in our local history.” Museum staff say the spring lineup continues the museum’s shift toward play-based, hands-on learning and is the most ambitious iteration of that approach to date.

Registration is managed through the Municipality of Chatham-Kent’s online registration portal (PerfectMind). Many sessions require advance sign-up, though some no-fee Kids Club sessions and other drop-in activities are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

For details and to register, see the Chatham-Kent Museum and Chatham-Kent Arts + Culture Kids Programs pages.
