Churchill Wild, an Arctic tour operator in Churchill, Manitoba, has officially added a photography masterclass to its 2026 lineup of wilderness trips to provide visitors with professional-grade camera training in the field.

The family-run business, led by the Reimer family, operates remote lodges including Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge and Seal River Heritage Lodge. These locations serve as the primary sites for the company’s wildlife viewing and photography programs.

According to Churchill Wild, the new masterclass is now listed as a distinct category on its website alongside its long-standing Polar Bear Photo Safaris. While the safari tours focus on gaining access to wildlife, the masterclass is designed to offer a more structured educational experience for photography enthusiasts.

These specialized tours are part of a shift toward skill-based travel in the Canadian North, allowing guests to build their photography portfolio while observing polar bears from the ground. The company is currently marketing these opportunities for the upcoming season.
