Collingwood Public Library will host a Spanish Conversation session on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in its Free Library Community Room at 55 Ste Marie St. The program, listed on the library’s programs page, typically recurs on the first and third Tuesday of the month.
Adults register once through the library’s online system and then drop in as schedules allow. “Once you have registered it is a drop-in program, attend when you can,” the event description notes.
Beginner learners meet in person to practise basic Spanish vocabulary and phrases, while intermediate and advanced speakers join virtually via Zoom. Sessions are coordinated by the library’s Adult Services team, in collaboration with YMCA Immigrant Services.
This Spanish Conversation group is part of the library’s winter lineup focused on adult education and newcomer support. Patrons can also access digital language tools through Transparent Languages, access private spaces for settlement consultations through the library’s Immigration Assistance services, and explore the library’s multilingual collection in French, Spanish, German, Urdu and more.
