Royal Roads University is hosting its annual Employer Connect career fair today, February 26, 2026, at its campus in Colwood, British Columbia. The event runs from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Grant Quarterdeck. It offers a chance for people to meet with various local and national employers in person.

There are between 30 and 40 different employers attending from sectors such as technology, law enforcement, and hospitality. Some of the organizations looking for new workers include Amazon, WorkSafe BC, the Saanich Police Department, the Fairmont Empress, and the Department of National Defence.

The fair is a drop-in event and does not require any advance registration for those who want to attend. While it is primarily designed for current students and former graduates, it provides a way for them to find part-time work, co-op placements, or full-time jobs after they finish their studies.

Employment service providers such as WorkBC and Worklink are also on hand to offer support to job seekers. The university uses this event to connect its students directly with businesses and government agencies that are currently hiring in the area.
