The Rural Municipality of Dauphin council will hold a public Regular Council Meeting on February 10, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the RM office in Dauphin, Manitoba. Council will discuss and may vote on infrastructure items — including road repairs, water services and drainage projects — as it finalizes priorities for the 2026 spring and summer construction season.
This meeting is especially important for homeowners and farmers because it follows the Jan. 30, 2026 deadline for payment of 2025 water and sewer bills. Reeve Ernie Sirski and the council will review the municipality’s water and sewer accounts and discuss waste and recycling arrangements shared with the City of Dauphin.
Because municipal elections are scheduled for Oct. 28, 2026, the council is working to finalize major projects before the campaign period. The Association of Manitoba Municipalities lists core infrastructure — including municipal roads and drainage/water management for agricultural land — among its current priorities for Manitoba municipalities.
Community members are welcome to attend the meeting in person to observe how local infrastructure priorities and budget decisions are being set. For residents wanting more detail on the municipal election process, the Province of Manitoba provides an election FAQ for voters.
