École Macneill in Dauphin will hold its annual holiday concert on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the school gymnasium at 312 Sandy Street. The performance kicks off the Mountain View School Division’s winter break, which also begins that day.
Students in Grades K through 5 will take the stage in French Immersion grade-level ensembles and may include a school-wide choir under the direction of music teacher Jennifer Knutson. Families can expect seasonal favourites sung en français alongside bilingual carols celebrating both official languages.
Attendance is limited by fire-code capacity; families are typically allotted 2–4 tickets through the Edsby app. Parents should check Edsby or contact the school to confirm the exact ticket allocation for this performance. A livestream may be provided; if so, access details will be posted via Edsby or other MVSD communications. Families unable to attend in person should check Edsby or contact the school for livestream information.
The division has moved away from strict COVID-19 mandates and follows a ‘stay home if sick’ advisory for anyone feeling unwell. The gym is on ground level and wheelchair accessible to accommodate guests with mobility needs.
Principal Monique Lefebvre said the school is “sparkling,” noting the custodian has the building in great shape and the staff are ready to welcome the community for an evening that celebrates student achievement and the spirit of the season.
For confirmation of ticketing, livestream availability, or exact program details (for example, whether a school-wide choir will perform), contact École Macneill’s front office or consult the school’s Edsby posts and the Mountain View School Division calendar.
