In Dauphin, Manitoba, Dauphin Recreation Services (DRS) posted new weekly schedules for the Kinsmen Aquatic Centre on December 29, 2025, covering January 5–11 and January 12–25, 2026. These timetables outline public swims, lane swims, lessons and fitness classes for the first weeks of the New Year. Residents can view and download the schedules from the Kinsmen Aquatic Centre pool schedule page on the official DRS website.

The schedules break down daily blocks for lane swim, adult swim, Parent & Tot sessions, water fitness classes and swim lessons that follow the Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life curriculum (per DRS program information). Residents should check the schedule PDFs or the pool schedule page for drop-in times for the wave pool and waterslide, and confirm specific program availability when planning a visit.

The Kinsmen Aquatic Centre features Manitoba’s first indoor wave pool, a 25-metre lap pool used by the Parkland Gators swim team, a teaching pool and a waterslide. Families and fitness enthusiasts rely on the facility for drop-in swims and structured programs throughout winter. The centre’s mix of public swim times and specialised sessions aims to suit everyone from competitive swimmers to toddlers taking their first lessons.

These January schedules follow major repairs at the Parkland Recreation Complex in 2024 and 2025, when water leaks and structural work required phased closures. They also reflect ongoing lifeguard staffing challenges that have limited daytime coverage in past seasons. DRS continues to recruit certified lifeguards and is funded jointly by the City of Dauphin and the Rural Municipality of Dauphin to help maintain as broad an operating schedule as possible.

Residents planning around Parkland Gators home meets or last-minute schedule changes should confirm pool availability by calling the Kin Aquatic Centre at 204-622-3112 or the DRS front desk at 204-622-3150 before heading out. Weekly updates may be posted to the pool schedule page if staffing or special events affect public swim times.
