Registration for the Winter 2026 swim lesson session at the Kin Aquatic Centre opens Monday, December 29, 2025 (go‑live time to be confirmed). Classes take place at the Kin Aquatic Centre inside the Parkland Recreation Complex, 200 1st St SE, Dauphin.

Families can register online through the Active Communities (ActiveNet) portal or in person at the Parkland Recreation Complex front desk. The Winter 2026 session is expected to begin in early January 2026, with specific start dates and times listed on the Dauphin Recreation Services website.

All lessons follow the Lifesaving Society Manitoba “Swim for Life” curriculum, which replaced the Canadian Red Cross levels in recent years. Fees for a 10‑class, 30‑minute block are approximately $95. Popular preschool and beginner time slots—Saturday mornings and Monday/Wednesday evenings—often fill quickly.

The Kin Aquatic Centre features a four‑lane, 25‑metre pool, a waterslide and a 12‑person hot tub. Local swim team the Parkland Gators frequently recruit advanced‑level students from these lessons. Parents should review the new Swim for Life level chart online to match their child’s previous progress under the Red Cross system.

Questions about registration can be directed to Dauphin Recreation Services at 204‑622‑3150 (front desk) or, for Kin Aquatic Centre booking inquiries, 204‑622‑3112. More information is available on the DRS homepage. Early sign‑up is recommended to secure preferred times during the busy winter schedule.
