Dauphin Regional Comprehensive Secondary School in Dauphin, Manitoba, has scheduled its annual Career Fair for March 10, 2026, in the school gymnasium and multi-purpose room, inviting around 600–800 students in Grades 9 to 12 to connect with local employers and post-secondary representatives. According to the DRCSS Career and Employment Page, this event meets Manitoba Education’s career development requirements and runs from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
More than 40 exhibitors will set up booths, including local businesses, trade unions, Assiniboine Community College’s Dauphin campus and Brandon University. Students can take part in mini-interviews, gather program information and explore the High School Apprenticeship Program (HSAP) with recruiters on site.
The Career Fair is a mandatory part of the Life/Work career development curriculum, organized by the school’s Guidance and Career Department under Career Guidance Lead Shannon Davies. It gives classroom lessons a real-world context and helps students plan post-secondary paths.
This year’s fair will be held in the gymnasium and multi-purpose room amid recent administrative changes within the Mountain View School Division, and represents a continued focus on student-centered programming. The fair will feature HSAP recruiters and employers ready to support on-the-job training for credit.
Local industry partners in agriculture, healthcare and skilled trades—such as regional equipment dealerships, Prairie Mountain Health and Skills Manitoba—will be on hand to discuss labour needs and scout future HSAP candidates. The event aims to build the Parkland region’s workforce by giving students a clear roadmap from high school into careers.
