Families in Dauphin looking to plan their summer childcare can start registering for the annual Summer Kids Kamp on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.
Organized by Dauphin Recreation Services, the day camp is open to all school-aged children, including those who will be entering Kindergarten this fall. The program is set to run from July 6 through August 28, 2026, and may be extended until September 4 depending on staff availability.
The camp will operate daily from 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. at the Rotary Arena, located on the Dauphin Memorial Community Centre Grounds. Participants can expect a variety of activities, including games, arts, crafts, outdoor play, and daily swimming sessions at the Kin Aquatic Centre. Caregivers are responsible for providing lunch, snacks, a water bottle, a swimsuit, and a towel for their children each day.
Registration for a full week of camp costs $125. The program also offers limited daily drop-in spots for $25 per day, though these are capped at three per week and require pre-booking and approval from the program coordinator.
