The 46th Annual Gun and Sportsman Show recently brought the community together at the Ovintiv Events Centre in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. The event, held on March 28 and 29, 2026, showcased the region’s strong culture of outdoor recreation.
Organized by the Dawson Creek Sportsman’s Club, the gathering is recognized as the largest gun and sportsman show in the Peace Region. Attendees had the opportunity to browse over 200 vendor tables, which featured a variety of items including firearms, knives, archery equipment, and off-road vehicles. The show serves as a key annual event for enthusiasts from British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan to connect and prepare for the upcoming season.
The event took place at the premier entertainment venue in the city, which features 4,500 permanent seats. As the community known as Mile 0 of the Alaska Highway, Dawson Creek remains a central hub for those interested in hunting and fishing. The Dawson Creek Sportsman’s Club continues to support these outdoor traditions year-round by maintaining facilities at 237 Riley Crossing Road, which include shooting ranges and archery courses.
