Extreme Mudfest is returning to Dawson Creek, British Columbia, for its third consecutive year from July 3 to 5, 2026, with tickets now officially available for purchase.
The three-day event, known for combining live rock music with extreme motorsport racing, will be hosted once again at the Aasen family ranch located at 187 Riverside Road in Pouce Coupe. Organizers from The Festival Company have announced that this year’s musical lineup includes performances by Canadian rock acts Big Wreck on Friday, July 3, and GOB on Saturday, July 4.
Ticket prices for the festival range from $47.80 to $694, though children aged 12 and under will be admitted for free. Those interested in attending can find more information and purchase passes through the official festival website.
The event first arrived in the region in 2024. During its inaugural year, the festival faced community discussions at Peace River Regional District meetings, where local residents raised concerns regarding noise and water use. Following those discussions, the regional district granted the organizers a three-year temporary use permit to operate at the Pouce Coupe site.
Since its 2024 debut, the festival has grown in scope and reach, even hosting an event overseas at the Liwa Festival in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, before returning to its British Columbia roots for the 2026 season. Executive producer Billie Jo Aasen and her team currently manage the festival across multiple locations, including upcoming events in Cold Lake, Alberta, and Moses Lake, Washington.
