The Dawson Creek Choral Society is hosting a youth musical called Giants in the Sky starting tonight at the Kiwanis Performing Arts Centre in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. The show features local children aged 9 to 14 who have spent the last four months training in acting, singing, and dance.
The story follows a group of Giants who live high above the clouds and are responsible for keeping the sky in good shape. One curious Giant decides to steal a key to a locked beanstalk and goes on an adventure to see what life is like on Earth.
The production is led by local director Imani Sandhu, who is a graduate of the choral society program herself. According to Tourism Dawson Creek, tickets for the performance are $20 each and help support future arts programs for the community.
The first performance takes place on February 13, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the theatre located on 10th Street. A second matinee show is also available for families to attend on February 14, 2026, starting at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets are available for purchase at the Kiwanis Performing Arts Centre front office. Residents can also buy tickets online through the official theatre website.
