The Ovintiv Events Centre in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, will host the Monster Madness and FMX World Tour on May 2, 2026. This high-energy show brings massive, approximately 10,000-pound monster trucks and professional motocross riders to the Peace River region for a day of family-friendly entertainment. This stop is part of a larger tour that will visit other northern communities later that month, including Prince George, as reported by the Prince George Daily News.

Families can watch trucks such as Rat Nasty and Loud & Dirty compete in racing, wheelie contests and freestyle rounds. The show also features FMX World Tour riders performing acrobatic tricks on dirt bikes high above the arena floor. According to the Dawson Creek Mirror, these types of motorsports events have been very popular in the community in previous years.

Before the main show, fans can access the arena floor during the Pit Party to see the trucks up close and meet drivers (Pit Party access is included with the event ticket). The event is presented locally by Up North Construction Ltd.; tickets are sold through Lake View Tix (online, by phone, or in person at the Lake View Tix box office at the Ovintiv Events Centre). The show is expected to draw visitors from surrounding towns such as Pouce Coupe, Fort St. John and Grande Prairie.

Because the show is expected to attract large crowds, the Ovintiv Events Centre recommends that people arrive at least 30 to 60 minutes early. Drivers should be prepared for extra traffic on Highway 2. Parking is available in the venue’s north and south lots, and overflow is often arranged at the Kenn Borek Aquatic Centre if the main lots fill up.
