The Erin District High School administration released its February newsletter on February 5, 2026, to help families in Erin, Ontario, prepare for the new semester and the coming school year. The document serves as a guide for students as they start their second semester and begin making important decisions about their education.
Students are currently working with the Guidance Department to choose their classes for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a busy time for the school as staff help learners plan their academic paths and future career goals.
The UGDSB school calendar highlights several important dates this month, including Family Day on February 16, 2026, when there will be no classes. Students will also take part in Pink Shirt Day on February 25, 2026, to promote kindness and stand against bullying.
Principal Francis Noventa and the staff are also distributing final report cards from the first semester during this period. Because the school is located in the Town of Erin community hub at Centre 2000, the update also includes information about local library programs and winter recreation.
The Upper Grand District School Board encourages parents to use the board’s UGConnect mobile app or the school’s page on the UGDSB website to stay informed about news, academic deadlines and community events.
