The Fort Heritage Precinct is hosting a free Easter Fun community event for families in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, on April 11, 2026. This afternoon program provides a local, no-cost activity for residents to celebrate the spring season while exploring the historic site.

The event runs from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and includes several activities for children. Visitors can participate in games, crafts, face painting, and a scavenger hunt throughout the day.

All activities will take place inside the historic North West Mounted Police Fort. This space is usually accessed only through guided tours, but it will be open for this event to help residents experience the landmark in an interactive way.

The Fort Heritage Precinct is located on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River. It represents three distinct time periods, including the original 1875 fort, a historical village, and a residence built in 1937.
