Women in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, will have the chance to learn how to take care of their vehicles during a new workshop on April 25, 2026. The Women & Wheels event aims to help residents understand what happens under the hood of their cars through a hands-on educational session.

OK Tire Fort Saskatchewan is hosting the event, which is being promoted by the Fort Saskatchewan & Lamont County Regional Chamber of Commerce. The session will run from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and is open to a small group of 24 participants.

Attendees will learn how to identify common warning signs and handle basic vehicle upkeep tasks. The organizers designed the morning to create a comfortable environment where women can ask questions and gain the knowledge they need to talk to mechanics with confidence.

Participants will get to see first-hand what to look for when checking their engines and tires. This hands-on approach is meant to remove the mystery from car repairs and help people make better decisions about their vehicles.

The program focuses on helping local drivers by teaching them practical skills for their daily lives. By focusing on maintenance, the session helps ensure that local vehicle owners feel more informed about their safety on the road.
