The Fort Saskatchewan RCMP are asking for the community’s help to find suspects involved in a recent armed robbery. Police say the individuals were seen wearing all-black winter clothes and ski masks during the incident.

This request for information follows a breakthrough in a separate investigation from earlier this year. On Feb. 17, officers identified 52-year-old John Ford of Athabasca as a suspect in a Jan. 7 break-and-enter after residents provided helpful tips. A warrant has been issued for Ford’s arrest on charges of breaking and entering and being disguised with intent to commit an offence.

The January case involved three people wearing white overalls and black masks who targeted a rural business east of Bruderheim in Lamont County. Police are thanking the public for their help in that case and hope similar tips will lead to arrests in the more recent robbery.

Residents who see anything suspicious or notice people matching the description of the suspects are encouraged to report it. You can call the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP detachment at 780-997-7900 or share a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
