The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 92 (Col. R.H. Britton Branch) will host a community brunch on Sunday, February 8, 2026, in Gananoque, Ontario. The fundraiser supports veterans’ initiatives and helps raise money for local seniors and youth programs.
The meal is scheduled at the Legion building at 55 King Street East and is expected to run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The year 2026 marks the Royal Canadian Legion’s centenary; the organization was incorporated in 1926 and its official centenary date is July 17, 2026.
Volunteers with the Ladies’ Auxiliary will serve a traditional breakfast to raise money for the Branch’s Poppy Fund. Poppy Fund proceeds have previously helped local health facilities such as the Carveth Care Centre and supported student bursaries and youth programs.
Branch President Bob Howard said the brunches help the Legion maintain its building. The branch’s website notes the building houses one of the largest military medal collections in Ontario. Residents can find more information — including menu and ticket details — on the RCL Branch 92 Facebook page.
