A large collection of classic MG sports cars will arrive in Gananoque, Ontario, this summer for a three-day event celebrating automotive history. The MG103Fest is set for August 14 to 16, 2026, and is expected to bring hundreds of vintage vehicle owners to the Thousand Islands region. The festival marks 103 years since the first MG sports car was produced in 1923.

The weekend is organized by the MG Car Club of Toronto in partnership with the Ottawa MG Club and the Montreal MG Car Club. While the event includes social meetings and group drives along the scenic Thousand Islands Parkway, the main public attraction will be a car show at Gananoque’s Town Park on Sunday. The event is listed on Moss Motoring’s Event Calendar; organizers say registration is expected to open in February 2026.

Local officials with the Town of Gananoque see the event as a way to support the community by bringing visitors to local hotels and restaurants. The gathering will also act as a fundraiser for the Gananoque and Area Food Bank. While the Sunday car show is free for the public to attend, organizers are encouraging visitors to provide donations to help support local food security.

Attendees will have the chance to see several historic MG models, including the MGA, MGB, Midget, and T‑Series cars. Organizers chose the location for its waterfront views and its history of hosting automotive events. The festival aims to offer a relaxed atmosphere where car enthusiasts can share their hobby with residents and visitors alike.
