The Town of Gananoque, Ontario, has set the dates for the 2026 Farmers’ and Craft Market, which will run every Thursday from June 4 through October 8. The weekly event will be held at Town Hall Park and will offer residents and visitors fresh local food, handmade goods, and live music.

Organizers from the Town of Gananoque finalized plans and posted the 2026 schedule and fee information on the Town’s website, giving vendors time to prepare for the 19-week season. The market will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, providing a regular mid-week spot for the community to gather and shop downtown.

This year’s market will continue to highlight the craft expansion, which includes more local artisans alongside traditional farmers. According to the market’s social media and the Town’s market guide, visitors can expect a mix of produce, prepared foods, and handmade items while enjoying live music (the Town’s market guide specifically references music from the bandstand).

Town officials have also published the fee structure for people interested in selling their goods. Small business owners and farmers can choose seasonal options or register as occasional daily vendors through the Town’s online vendor application; 2026 rates and options are listed on the Town’s Farmers’ and Craft Market page.

The market serves as an important starting point for new businesses in the Leeds and Thousand Islands region. By keeping the market at Town Hall Park, the Town aims to bring more foot traffic to local shops and support regional food security.
