The Island Lake First Nations Family Services agency is currently recruiting for two full-time positions to support children, youth, and families across four First Nations communities in Manitoba, including Garden Hill Anisininew Nation.
The agency is looking to fill a Unit Supervisor role and a Case Aide Worker position. Both openings are based at the organization’s sub-office in Winnipeg. For both opportunities, the agency will give preference to Indigenous candidates who meet the position requirements.
The Unit Supervisor role, which focuses on case management and leadership, has an application deadline of 4:30 p.m. today, April 29, 2026. Applicants for this position should have a bachelor’s degree in social work or related post-secondary education, along with at least two years of direct experience in the field.
The Case Aide Worker position remains open until 4:30 p.m. on May 11, 2026. This role offers an annual salary between $52,295 and $58,839 and requires a post-secondary diploma or certificate in social services, as well as a minimum of two years of experience.
Island Lake First Nations Family Services, which operates out of a head office in Garden Hill, provides support programs for more than 10,000 people. In addition to Garden Hill, the agency serves St. Theresa Point Anisininew Nation, Wasagamack Anisininew Nation, and Red Sucker Anisininew Nation.
