The RCMP confirmed the arrest of 37-year-old Kevin Robert Reid in Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland and Labrador. The force says the arrest concludes a multi-week search that began in December 2025 involving outstanding arrest warrants.
NTV reported on December 12, 2025, that Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP were looking for Reid. He was wanted on multiple arrest warrants related to criminal offences, including robbery, break and enter, theft and failure to comply with a Probation Order.
Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP issued a public appeal on January 7, 2026 asking anyone with information on Reid’s whereabouts to contact the detachment. RCMP later confirmed Reid was arrested (RCMP update lists January 15, 2026 as the date of the arrest).
This is not the first time Reid has been the subject of police searches in the province. RCMP and local media reported that in 2022 he was wanted on theft charges and multiple breaches of court orders and was later arrested in Corner Brook by the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary.
Reid is in custody and is expected to appear in provincial court. Anyone with information is asked to contact Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP at 709-489-2121.
