Grand Valley Seeks Local Applicants For New Town Job

The Town of Grand Valley, Ontario, has announced a municipal recruitment for an administrative assistant role, with the announcement shared via the town’s social media channels. At the time of checking, the town’s Employment page did not list active job postings; applicants should check both the Town of Grand Valley website and the Town’s official Facebook page for the current posting.

The town is encouraging local residents to apply to help build a workforce that understands community needs. The successful candidate would be based at Town Hall (5 Main St. N.) to help manage daily services and to support municipal operations during the 2026 budget season.

According to the Town’s Employment page, the municipality “offers an environment that fosters opportunities for employees to learn, grow and thrive.” Note that Ontario law (effective Jan. 1, 2026) requires publicly advertised job postings to include salary ranges; applicants should review the full job posting for specific salary and expected work hours.

Interested residents should look for the full job description and application instructions on the Town of Grand Valley website and the Town’s Facebook page. The municipal office, which was closed due to inclement weather on Jan. 22, 2026, was scheduled to reopen on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026.
