The Grande Prairie Stompede Association has launched a cattle raffle in Grande Prairie, Alberta, to raise money for local events and community programs. This raffle gives residents an opportunity to win a herd of livestock or a significant cash prize while supporting the organization.
A total of 6,000 tickets are being sold for $50 each. An early bird draw is set for April 11, 2026, which will award a $10,000 cash prize to one ticket holder.
The grand prize winner will be selected on May 30, 2026. That person can choose to receive a herd consisting of 25 heifers and one bull or take a $100,000 cash payout instead.
The raffle is being held under a licence from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis commission. All funds collected from ticket sales will help the association continue its work in the community throughout the year.
