The March Market returns to the Theatre Concourse at Northwestern Polytechnic in Grande Prairie, Alberta, on March 27 and March 28, 2026. This community event brings together more than 80 local vendors to sell handmade goods and boutique items to the public.
Shopping begins on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and continues Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the campus located at 10726 106th Avenue. Visitors can attend the event for free and will not have to pay for parking while they browse the various local products.
While admission is free, the market is collecting optional donations for Night to Remember, a local community fundraiser. This event is part of a busy weekend for local makers, with other groups like The Handmade Marketplace and the Spring Craft and Bake Sale Market at the D’Coy Armouries also hosting shoppers.
The market venue is one of several community spaces at the school, which offers university transfer, diploma programs, and apprenticeship training. Local organizations like the Grande Prairie Palliative Care Society and the Grande Prairie and District Grief Support Association also depend on community support and fundraisers to provide their services in the region.
