The Grande Prairie Live Theatre is bringing a mix of drama and music to its downtown stage this month as part of a busy March schedule during its 63rd season. Residents can watch the Greek tragedy Trojan Women in mid-March, followed by a popular musical later in the month.
The production of Trojan Women, presented by Northwestern Polytechnic drama students, will run for three nights from March 12, 2026, to March 14, 2026. Following this guest performance, the theatre’s own 2025–2026 season of community-run shows continues with the musical Tick, Tick… Boom! on March 26 and March 27, 2026.
These events offer locals a chance to see live performances in the downtown area. The non-profit organization relies on nearly 300 volunteers to help run its daily operations and stage productions for more than 14,000 audience members every year. As one of the largest community theatre groups in Canada, it also hosts various concerts and film events throughout the year.
