The Community Futures Grande Prairie & Region will bring its annual women’s business conference to Grande Prairie, Alberta, from March 13–15, 2026. This three-day event, known as the Hyperdrive Women in Business Summit, will be held at the Delta Hotels Grande Prairie Airport (Delta Hotels by Marriott). This will be the first time the summit takes place in Grande Prairie since the program began in 2023; previous editions were held as a retreat in Jasper.
The theme for the 2026 gathering is “Momentum,” which focuses on helping entrepreneurs and executives grow their companies and leadership skills. Moving the summit from its previous retreat location in Jasper to Grande Prairie’s regional economic hub is intended to lower travel barriers and make it easier for local residents to attend.
The summit is limited to 100 participants and will feature keynote speakers, networking sessions, and workshops on topics such as marketing strategy and the use of artificial intelligence. According to the Hyperdrive organizers, the weekend is designed to help professional women build community while addressing issues such as burnout and work stress.
Tickets for the event are $250 per person, and the FuelHer program allows sponsors to purchase tickets for attendees who need financial support. The event is hosted by Community Futures Grande Prairie & Region with support from regional partners including the Community Futures Network of Alberta.
This upcoming meeting marks the fourth year for the summit, which has grown from a small retreat into a focused professional development weekend. Local leaders expect the new location at the Delta Hotels Grande Prairie Airport to allow for greater involvement from businesses throughout the region.
