Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph has announced its annual gala, the BIG Night Out: Enchanted Illusions, for Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Italian Canadian Club of Guelph, 135 Ferguson St. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the evening will feature dinner, auctions and magic-themed entertainment.
The “Enchanted Illusions” theme promises a night of wonder, with a formal sit-down meal followed by live and silent auctions. Attendees can purchase individual tickets or explore corporate sponsorship packages that help underwrite event costs and boost fundraising.
Proceeds from the gala will support one-on-one and group mentoring programs for more than 600 local youth facing adversity. According to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph, funds raised go toward recruiting, screening and matching volunteer mentors with children in Guelph and surrounding townships.
New executive director Kegan Harris, named earlier in 2025, said the gala is an important community event. In past years, the event has raised between $75,000 and $100,000, helping the agency reduce its waitlist and expand services.
Ticket and sponsorship information is available on the organisation’s event page and the agency website. Local businesses and residents interested in supporting youth mentorship are encouraged to reserve their seats early.
