The Guelph Public Library is launching two new free drop-in programs for teenagers this week at The Grove – Woolwich Site in Guelph, Ontario. These after-school events provide a safe, supervised place for youth to hang out while learning new skills.

On February 17, 2026, the library is hosting a craft session where teens can make their own custom picture frames. This will be followed by a Dungeons and Dragons drop-in game on February 18, 2026, which allows young people to join a group and play the popular tabletop game together.

The events are held at 737 Woolwich Street to make library services more accessible to families living in the north end of the city. CMHA Waterloo Wellington hosts this site, which acts as a one-stop-shop for youth aged 12 to 26 to find mental health support and social activities in one building.

This partnership with The Grove Hubs allows the library to offer social programming outside of its main branch buildings. These sessions are free of charge and focus on helping local teens build practical skills and connect with their peers.
