The Guelph Police Service is asking for help from the public after a group of five men robbed a jewelry store in Guelph, Ontario, on Tuesday afternoon. The robbery happened just before 4 p.m. on February 17, 2026, at a shop inside Stone Road Mall.

According to police, four suspects entered the store armed with hammers and smashed through glass display cases to take an undisclosed amount of jewelry. A fifth person waited in a getaway car while the others were inside the building. No shoppers or employees were physically hurt during the incident.

The group was seen leaving the mall in a white, approximately 2018 four-door Honda Civic. Investigators noted the car had the license plate DFEX781, which actually belongs to a different vehicle. The suspects were last seen driving away from the mall going south on Edinburgh Road South.

The four suspects who entered the store are described as wearing black clothing and masks, with some wearing lime green or garden-style gloves; police do not have a physical description for the driver. Anyone with surveillance or dashcam footage from the mall or the surrounding area is encouraged to contact the Guelph Police Service. Tips can also be shared anonymously through Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington.
