In Hanover, Ontario, Grey Bruce Public Health lists a Sexual Health Clinic on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Hanover Medical Associates Building, 118 7th Avenue. (Confirm the date and time with Grey Bruce Public Health, as event-calendar listings can change.)

Residents can access free, confidential testing for sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections, pregnancy testing and counselling, birth control counselling and low‑cost contraception. Services at GBPH sexual health clinics do not require an OHIP card.

Appointments are preferred; call Grey Bruce Public Health at 519-376-9420 or check the GBPH website to book. A limited number of walk-in spots may be available, but the preferred booking method for this clinic (including whether it uses the Medeo online system) should be confirmed with GBPH.

The clinic is part of GBPH’s ongoing effort to expand rural access to sexual and reproductive health services beyond the main hub in Owen Sound. In a GBPH news release (Feb. 7, 2023) the unit said it had added regular clinics in Hanover, and was offering monthly clinics in Kincardine and Southampton to reduce travel barriers for youth and residents without family doctors.

The Hanover & District Hospital at 90 7th Avenue continues to operate its emergency department 24 hours a day. GBPH says these clinics aim to provide a local, confidential alternative to the ED for non-urgent sexual health needs; it has not been confirmed publicly whether HDH and GBPH have a formal referral process in place for redirecting non-urgent ED patients to the clinic.
