The Hanover Public Library in Hanover, Ontario, has announced a new lineup of activities for children during the upcoming March Break. From March 16 to March 19, 2026, the library will host several in-person events including science experiments, a magic performance, and social clubs to provide local families with low-cost entertainment options.

The week begins with a Slime Lab on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, the Pokémon Club will meet from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by a family Magic Show on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

The programming concludes on Thursday, March 19, 2026, with an Investigate It science session and the Reading with the Dogs program. These events take place at the library facility located at 451 10th Avenue within the local civic centre.

Funded by the Town of Hanover, the library previously removed late fees for children’s items to make it easier for local families to use their services. According to the library board, this fine-free model is part of a larger effort to ensure the facility remains an accessible hub for the community.
