Innisfail Recreation & Culture is accepting registrations for its 2026 Summer Youth Program, giving local kids aged 10 to 17 a chance to join a wide range of activities and day trips from July 7 to August 20. The program includes 12 scheduled activity dates and six registered day trips, all based out of Innisfail, Alberta.
Activities will take place at several familiar spots around town, including field games, disc golf, and nature walks at Centennial Park, swimming at the Innisfail Aquatic Centre, and indoor sports like Nerf and dodgeball at the Twin Arena. Arts and crafts, science sessions in the park, and Minute to Win It games round out the lineup.
For families looking for something off-site, six day trips are planned with fees ranging from $12 to $40. Destinations include golf lessons at the Innisfail Golf Club, a visit to Sylvan Lake featuring X-Zone and swimming, and trips to Red Deer for Boardwalk Entertainment’s laser tag and arcade, or pottery painting at Color Me Mine. One combined outing offers swimming and bowling for $15.
Registration is required and can be completed through the Town of Innisfail’s online recreation portal, ActiveNet. Spots are limited, so early sign-up is encouraged. A completed waiver form and emergency contact information are required before participation.
