The Iroquois Falls Minor Hockey Association (IFMHA) and Gen Edge Hockey have partnered to launch a new skills development program for local youth in Iroquois Falls, Ontario. The partnership was announced in late October 2025 and the program is aimed at the 2025–26 winter season.

Sessions will be held at the Jus Jordan Arena & Sports Complex. Training will be led by Tyler Pracek, owner of Gen Edge Hockey and a Hockey Canada–certified skills instructor, who has more than 16 years of experience running skills clinics.

The program is designed to give local children access to professional-grade instruction without requiring families to travel to larger cities. Lessons will focus on modernized fundamentals such as skating mechanics, edge work and creative puck handling.

Local organizers hope the new training will encourage more kids to stay active in hockey and build their confidence on the ice. Families are encouraged to register through the Iroquois Falls Minor Hockey Association for the winter season.
