The Town of Kearney, the Township of Perry, and the Village of Burk’s Falls are teaming up for a trivia night on February 11, 2026, to help bring neighbours together and support local business. This community social event will take place at Fork on Main in Kearney, Ontario, with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. and questions beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Organized alongside the Almaguin Highlands Chamber of Commerce, the evening will feature several rounds of trivia ranging from general pop culture to local history. Residents are invited to form teams of four to six people, and there is a $20 entry fee for each team.

The event aims to give people a low-cost way to socialize during the quiet winter season while bringing more customers to local businesses. April Fuller, the owner of Fork on Main, says the goal is for the restaurant to serve as a hub where people can meet their neighbours for food and entertainment.

These three municipalities have a history of sharing services, and the Burk’s Falls & District Historical Society notes they often collaborate on regional projects. This trivia night is part of a larger plan to help small businesses in the Almaguin Highlands stay busy and connected throughout the year.
