The Kensington and Area Chamber of Commerce is highlighting weekday lunch specials at local businesses in Kensington, Prince Edward Island, to encourage residents to support the community throughout March 2026. The program aims to make it easier for people to find affordable meals while helping local restaurants stay busy during the week.
The promotion, known as Mid-week munchies, runs every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. To help promote the local dining spots, the chamber organized a contest for a $100 gift card. Paul Beaulieu was named the winner of the draw, which was created to get more people to participate in the lunch program.
The chamber is a non-profit group that represents about 130 local businesses. By focusing on mid-week meals, the group hopes to introduce residents to different restaurants and support the town’s economy.
