The Kingston Road Runners Association (KRRA) will host its annual Twosome 5K on Sunday, February 8, 2026, in Kingston, Ontario, to help local children participate in organized sports. This winter tradition features a five-kilometre course along Gore Road that starts and finishes at the Army Navy Air Force (ANAF) Unit 377 building on Gore Road. The event is set to run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Proceeds from the run will be donated to KidSport Kingston, a local chapter of the national non-profit that provides grants to help cover registration fees for youth sports. KidSport Kingston’s mission is to ensure that every child aged 18 and under in the community has the opportunity to play a season of sport regardless of financial situation.

Participants can run as individuals for KRRA series points or as part of a two-person “twosome” team; team placings are determined by the combined times of both runners. All registered runners will receive a custom pair of Outway (formerly Endur) mid-height knit socks. Al and Christina Cantlay of Runner’s Choice Kingston are donating a pair of running shoes to be awarded to the “middle-of-the-pack” team.

Those interested in participating must register online through Trackie.com. The entry fee is $45 for most runners, with a $5 discount for KRRA members (effective registration price $40). There will be no race-day registration, so runners are encouraged to sign up in advance.
