Burman University in Lacombe, Alberta, will host two Prairie Athletic Conference volleyball double-headers on February 13–14, 2026, expanding the campus’s weekend sports offerings and providing more opportunities for students and local families to watch competitive matches.

The games are scheduled at the Burman University PE Centre at 6415 University Drive. On Friday, Feb. 13 Burman will meet the Millar Edge (Millar College), and on Saturday, Feb. 14 the opponent is the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Panthers (Moose Jaw campus), according to the university events calendar.

Burman’s athletics program says adding home games is intended to boost campus vibrancy and create more spectator opportunities for the community. The Saturday match is scheduled after the university’s Sabbath (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset); historically, games in that slot have drawn strong student attendance.

Nearby residents may see increased traffic and higher demand for parking on University Drive while the events are underway, and the PE Centre— which functions as a public facility—posts a small daily access fee for visitors (current posted daily adult rate: $5.71). For information on parking, admissions, start times, or facility access, contact the Burman PE Centre (PE Centre Community Recreation Coordinator Olga Sadovoy) or Burman University Athletics.
